IMPROVING THE SCIENCE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF CLASS VIII STUDENTS THROUGH THE JIGSAW-TYPE COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL ASSISTED WITH IMAGE MEDIA AT SMP NEGERI SATAP PRAIMARADA

The research was conducted with the aim of knowing student activity and learning outcomes using Jigsaw type cooperative model on respiratory system material in humans at SMP Negeri Satap Praimarada. This is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists pre-cycle activities, cycle 1, 2, total 30 students. Each four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, reflection. Number students who are inactive 3 people percentage 13.33%. an average 57.3% completed 4 13,3% 26 did not complete 86,67%. Furthermore, activities consist affective aspects, there 12 good predicate 18 sufficient predicate. Then 1 value all 73.2 consisted 13 43.3% consisting 17 56.6%. In 2 16 very 14 Learning 81.5 25 83.3% 5 16.6%. Thus, it can be concluded that application jigsaw to Biology class VIII-IPA
